1.02 RB Laurence Maroney New England
 

As a Pats fan I just can't pass on this combination. The guy I had a number two on my pre-NFL draft board (who is still at #2) and the heir apparent to Corey Dillon. Plus I get to use the little Pats logo!!

Got a lot of interesting offers to move down but when all is said and done I think this is the move that best benefits the Gunslingers.

Hey, this is the best RB of any situation (including Bush, short term anyway). Dillon is too old and the others aren't that good.

The funny thing is about Maroney, having watched him and Barber on the exact same team for a number of years, Barber is every bit the RB that Maroney is. Maroney goes in the 1st, and Barber goes in the 4th. Either the Pats got a stinker in the first round, or Dallas has gem of a backup. Based on what I feel about Maroney, I think Dallas has a gem of a backup.
