3g for a guy who may not even start much less get a majority of the carries is a bit surprising to me. I own him in the Frenzy for 600 and change and debate if he's even worthy of being promoted to the active roster.

What's the thinking here Pat? Rolling the dice and hoping he starts and gets the majority of the snaps with Anderson gone?

How does an established guy like Westbrook sell for 400 less?

simple mathematics. westbrook would have been easily matched due to cap space available whereas bell being matched was much less likely. being in chicago i missed opening weekend bidding, thus missing out on edge, tomlinson, alexander, etc... i needed one more RB and after others were matched i was left with but two choices: bell being the most likely to be declined. i have an abundence of cap space so value had very little meaning. if he doesn't start, oh well, i'll be in the same boat i was going into last year with dillon being my only back.

Bell went about 1k over what I expected him to be worth especially with the likes of Chris Brown and Jamal Lewis sell under 2k.

I was consideirng matching him until 2500k, but beyond that point I could not match him and field a decent team. At least with Bell's fate being decided for me I went different routes and decided to go into rebuilding mode and make some trades.

Best of luck with Bell but with Shanny you never know.
