Rookie Bonuses

I just wanted to get something straight before the rookie draft. It appears the bonus scale has passed. In that doc, it states that there is a max salary level. Does this mean if a rookie hits that level in his 4th year, that his salary would remain the same in year 5 of contract? Just wanted clarification before we hit that sitiation. Thanks.

Re: Rookie Bonuses

To clarify, once a rookie salary hits that scale, the bonuses no longer apply, but the annual 10% raise remains in effect.

Also, the 10% is applied prior to the bonus, so say there is a max salary level of 1000, and a rookie has a 900 cb salary for 2006, and is elligible for a 250 cb bonus. He would receive his 10% raise to 990, and then 10 cb of his 250 cb bonus bringining him to 1000. The following year, he would still get his 10% raise to 1100, but no bonus could be earned.

OK, that's what it sounded like when I read it, just wanted to make sure. Thanks!
