Re: 2006 RFA declarations

Just to be difficult, and since I started this thing, and since I am usually right (heh), shouldn't each RFA declaration be done in a seperate thread, so that the bidding can also be done in same posting, to keep things in order? Just a thought (a dam good one if I must say so).

No, preferably each team should post them in 1 thread (say THIS one) in 1 post per team.

Let's keep em organized folks!

So when bidding begins, we're going to post NEW topics per RFA, correct?

It's different than CDL, a player is avalaible to be bid (starting at the tender level) anytime over the month of April. Any team can open bidding on a player, as long as it's at or above the tender.

Player threads for each tendered player will not be posted automatically, though we will put a summary page up of who's available by position.

I just thought it would make things less cluttered, easier to see who was available to bid on, and also keep the tender level all in one thread.

Re: 2006 RFA declarations

QB Steve McNair (6th, 250)
LB Ray Lewis (1st, 1300)
DB Rodney Harrison (6th/160)

Subject to change pending outcome of dealings.

* Just for clarification - we can change RFAs up until 11:59PM tomorrow night, correct?

* Edited to remove Chad Johnson and add Rodney Harrison
* Edited to change RayRay's tender level (I think its too high, but its cheaper than franchising him and maybe 1300 will keep people away during RFA bidding

Re: 2006 RFA declarations

With Branch no longer on my squad, I'm going to roll the dice and tag Priest as a 6th in his place.

Priest Holmes 6th, 500 now a Pitbulls RFA

Philadelphia Freedom March 30th, 2006 11:58 AM

Re: 2006 RFA declarations

So far it appears that 35 players have been tagged.

By Position:
DB-3
DL-0
LB-3
QB-5
RB-15
WR-8
TE-1
K-0

By tender Value (across positions):
First Round-5
Second Round-6
Third Round-4
Fourth Round-7
Fifth Round-7
Six Round-6

The positional imbalance isn't a surprise, but the balance in tender levels tells me at first glance we got the scale right.

OK, no more Priest on my roster either.

So now LB James Farrior gets tagged, as a 5th at 400
