A little help.... Roster Apps

Sorry guy I haven't been as active as I have been in the past. Like everyone at some point life has been keeping me real busy and I haven't had the chance to even think about fantasy football.

I found that last year I became overwhelmed attempting to keep track of the roster apps for BOTH the SAC'D and Frenzy. I was tempted to drop out of both leagues this year as I found last year I wasn't into the leagues as much as I had been before.

The extra burden of the SAC'D and Frenzy roster apps just drained any extra time I had used pursuing trades or enjoying the league. Maybe my excel skills need refining, but all that copy and pasting took me about 1.5-2 hours for each app, especially depending of the activity of SAC'D.

I didn't want to ditch on either league and I'll give it another go around, but I'd greatly appreciate if someone could take over the responsibilities of updating one of the apps (Frenzy or SAC'D). I'm not trying to dump all the responsibility as I find it is the least I can do for Mike for hosting and creating such a great place for us to play fantasy football. So if someone other than Mike can take over one of the apps (immediatley so we can update for this year) I would greatly appreciate it.

I feel this route would help me (being the selfish guy that I am) and both leagues as I'd be able to enjoy fantasy football and become more active and he leagues would benefit from having near weekly roster updates.

Thanks.

Maybe just getting a site up and running would help. Are we still going to use the apps for this year with using a site anyway?

The apps are a necessary evi; No website out there can handle the complexities of our cap. Hell, I've yet to see an online site that handles ANY cap system well, much less one with contracts.

Can the site be used along with the app to save time? Just brain storming here.

You should be able to download the latest off the site.

The 2006 App is up and ready for you Frank. I now have to return to having a life again! SACD's app is under your wings now!

;)

BTW, when you FTP files, make sure they go under the 2006 directory.

Thanks!

LOL, I was just messing, though I did spend a lot of hours on both apps getting them ready for a final 2005 and the new year.

Why no RFA bids in either league yet?

Re: A little help.... Roster Apps

found an error in the roster app.

Mike Peterson is listed as having 2 years left, but he should only have one left.

I am not sure how widespread this is, but looking at my IDPs I can see that I think all of them were missed.

Did you forget to reduce player contracts by 1 year?

It's possible I missed years in some of them, I did them in groups (taxi Squad, Practice Squad, IDP, IOP etc.)

I tried my damdest to catch em all, but mighta missed on a couple teams.

How was Todd Heap's salary calculated? I thought the franchise player got a 20% raise over his previous years salary. Is it really a 20% over his 2005 salary and then another 10% on top of that? I would think that since it is assume it is a one year salary (as many have stated) that you don't get double burned by the additional 10% raise.

Edited to add, Carlos Rogers was activated at some point in 2005, and therefor should be on my active roster.

I wnt by the salary you posted for Heap. Is it wrong? THere shouldn't be a 10% increase for franchise players, but he should be 20% above last years salary or the top 10 avg... whichever is higher.

I posted 1080, but 1188 is on the roster app. The top 10 TEs averaged 879. Heap made 900. 900 + 20% = 1080.
