Rules clarification question...
 

I know we need to submit our contract years by the 30th of August. If I want to place a player on the IR at the start of the season, can I include that in my initial contract declaration package? or must all players START on the active roster, and then get moved to IR?

This is not a question about posting an IR move in my contract declarations post... it's about when we can make an IR designation. My reading of the rules seems to indicate that on the 30th I can make an IR designation, and then also post my contract years and be legit.

Can those on the rules committee confirm or deny this? Thanks!
