In yet, another show of a lack of confidence in their weak WR corp the Freedom today announce the unconditional release of WR Donald Hayes. Hayes will be replaced with Randy McMicheal as the team prepares to deploy a weekly 2 TE set.

The Freedom also announced that they feel that some sort of points should be awarded each week to the team with the most Mc's playing. The Freedom favor this because they have McNabb, McCallister, McCardell and now McMicheal.

BTW, please confirm that the 8-3 vote on the 2 TE line-up is in fact in effect for the 2002 season. Thanks!

Matt, the flex WR/TE change did indeed pass and is in effect for THIS YEAR.

Watch for the 2 TE set when you meet the Freedom. Okay, this just proves how weak the WR's are but you never now. Can't hurt to be different!

ROYAL HAWAIIAN OPIHI officials have discovered what appears to be a PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM playbook. An unidentified team official has confirmed that they have such an item. "We don't really think it's legit," said Mr. X (who asked that he not be named)... "there's too many double TE flex sets in the front section of the book. Come on, who are they trying to kid. We ain't falling for that 'lost fake playbook' trick! We didn't just come into the league this year, you know." When reminded that they did in fact just come into the league this year, Mr. X responded with the following: "No comment."

Prepare yourselves for plenty of Gonzo and Chamberlain. I'm not sure who the blocking tight end is in that combo.
