Taxi Squad Eligibility Clarification
 

In reading the portion of the rules doc covering the Taxi Squad (TS), I noticed an important unintentional ommission to the rule.

To be eligible for the TS players must be drafted. They cannot be acquired as FA's and placed on the TS.

I think a couple teams think they can acquire young players in the vet draft, and place them on the TS, which is NOT a legal move as the rule was intended.

Basically, to be eligible, a player must have been drafted in this years rookie draft, or future classes. If they're ever cut to FA, they're no longer TS eligible.

Actually, another team was asking a question on it, and just to be sure I checked the writeup, and noticed either I deleted a line Brian had written, or he forgot it. I know the way the rule was intended to be written was for drafted players only, so I'll get the writing cleaned up by ths weekend. The Frenzy doc may need to be cleaned up as well.

Yep. This is one thing about the rules I DO remember distinctly being brought up previously. I have no problem with this.
