Is that #5 on your roster!!! I admit compared to what you paid for Farve he is a great deal. Something just concerns me about him so I backed off. Enjoy!!

I actually like Jake, I like Brett as a player much more. They both give essentially the same production (at least FF wise in 2004).

At 955, however, I'll take the cap savings.

Of the top 6 Qbs from last year, he's really the only I would say that barring an injury, isn't a lock to return to the top 6 again.

When healthy, Plummer has always put up good FF numbers. You may not like him as an NFL player, but statistically he puts up FF points year in and out when healthy.

I agree he's no lock to be Top 5 again, but I expect him to be Top 10-15, just like Favre.

Well, not exactly. He has averaged 16.5 for his career. Fairly average. He has had two nice years (ppg wise at least) in Denver, but I really see that as his ceiling. Don't get me wrong. He's currently the 12th highest paid QB in SAC'D, and there are a few guys out there that could garner more money than him, so he's going to be paid right about where he should be. This is no earth shattering bargain though.

You touting him as the #5 QB makes me think of Bad Brad Johnson though. That brings a smile to my face.

Heh, nice Frenzy reference on BJ... I don't view Plummer as a #5 QB this year, I said he was LAST YEARS #5 QB.

Favre was #6 last year, I don't necessarily think he'll finish as high either, of the 2 of them, I'd say Favre is more likely to, but for a 33% higher contract he better!
