Okay, now that we're unofficially into the 2005 rookie draft... let's see what others think of the picks being made. Mike & Joe have already started the bantering off with the 1.01 and 1.02 picks... onward & upward, gang!

LOL Okay... I probably would have made the same pick as Mike, had I the 1.01 slot. I think Gruden will run with one RB now that he's got a workhorse. I don't have Ronnie Brown ranked as low as Mike does, and he may very well be a stud down the road... but as for making an immediate impact, I think the Caddy was a wise choice.

yeah where everything drops off big time. just not as many blue chippers this year compared with last year IMO

Not Interested! One less team for you to worry about dealing with.

Any others want to bow out on the front end so Frank can be more timely with a pick so we can get to Jake's picks?

Jake will be out of town early next week for a few days, so we were trying to get things in early this week.

I'm not interested either... can't fault you for trying Frank, but I've yet to see a successful trade out of the mid 1st round yet this year. The drop off is too big after the top 4, and the second tier of players is massive.

Hey guys. Sorry about the delay. My phone was off as I toured the Supreme Court and Library of Congress yesterday, and by the time I received Mike's message it was too late to call. The guy I've targeted is available, so I'll make my pick soon.

I'll be around tomorrow morning for just a few moments (prior to 2pm EST)... then I'll be gone the rest of the day, and not able to check back in until about 6am EST Saturday morning... just a heads up in case we get to that oh-so-crucial 4th round (with all of our practice squadders!).
