DL, LB, CB 2 of each, with 1 back up for each position.

I would be open to a flex, i don't care as I have never participated in an IDP league.

I think you mean DL, LB, DB (not CB).

Anyhow, we should define DL as DT, DE or NT

LB's are straightup just LB's

and DB's are CB's, Free Safeties, Strong Safeties, Nicke Backs, Dime Backs

I agree with definitions of the positions and agree with what Mike (Preds) wrote.
I think we can do 12 IDP (6 active, 6 reserve)

The previous IDP league I played in was ANY 3 IDP. Some fools put in Warran Sapp and Michael Strahan because of name-sake. However, production-wise they don't compare to LBs or DBs. So, I like having to have at least one of each.

6 starting IDPs, 2 each of DLs, LBs and DBs sound good.

I vote not to have a restriction on how many have to have at a position and offensive vs defensive players, but am fine if we decide to.

Six starters (2 of each) seems to be the consensus. I'm also for 2 reserves for each. Only one reserve requires quite the planning ahead for byes, and kills you on injuries.

This works best, based on my experience with IDP's. One league breaks out CB's from Safties, and it's a nightmare unless you have all rosters memorized.

There's a check box below the message box to create a poll. Once you post the thread it will take you to another screen to create the poll that will be part of the thread.

Then everybody votes (anonymously) with the poll showing where the voting stands.
