DS question...
 

I know that once a player who has been on a team's DS is ACTIVATED, he cannot return to that same teams' DS.

HOWEVER, what about a player who's drafted by a team, but then released before the 8/15 deadline (or even placed on the DS and then cut later in the season, without ever having been active)... can that same team pick him up later that season and put him back on the DS?

(My interpretation of the league rules would say "YES," but I want it comfirmed from the "higher ups"!)

That's probably something to flesh out in the rules a little further... but I would also say yes. If a player has never been on your active squad, and he has been in the league 4 or less years. then he is eligible for DS status.

I don't have a problem with that. It doesn't seem to violate the spirit of the rules IMO.
