Is this Mike's way of fending off certain defeat? Not updating the league website in order to allow my new starting D (Buffalo) to contribute to the demise of the arch-rival Predators? I believe when I first submitted my weekly lineup the Bills hadn't been added to my roster, so I made a note in the "NOTE" section indicating I'd be starting Buffalo. I think I even indicated on the winning bid contract year designation that I'd be starting them... hey, when the score 29 fantasy points, I gotta be sure those points get counted!

I didn't do the lineups, Jake did. ;)

As I said before, the Preds were resting up this week, this was no more than a pre-season scrimmage for us! ;)

Jake, when you update the rosters, download the file first, I input the lineups for the Toxic Waste and Insects (who both FAILED to submit one)... as well as the Freedom (who submitted there week 14 lineup a week ago since they would be out of town).

In all seriousness, congrats on the victory Jim... to bad it didn't mean more!

And Dodgers, you're FIRMLY IN MY SIGHTS... I'm looking forward to our upcoming battle! Opihi, thanks for the R&R... your gracious hospitality was a great way for the boys to recharge for the battles ahead!

We are definitely looking forward to our game this week. My Dodgers are thrilled to be back in the playoffs after a one season hiatus. Nothing would be sweeter than ending the Predators hopes of a back to back championship run.

Well, now that the season is officially over for the OPIHI... we put our team support 100% behind our division-mates the PARKWOOD PREDATORS. If the Opihi can't win a championship, then let's keep it in the Eastern Division! Glad you got your butt-kicked... um, I mean... batteries recharged here in the islands, Mike! Bring home another title to the East!

Nice job Jim! You were a worthy opponent, and the East continued to show why we are the class of the league (though the Central is coming on strong)! 3 of 4 teams in the east finished with winning records, and among the top 5 scoring teams in the league. The stiff competition in the East keeps the entire season exciting, and makes us all put our best foot forward.

I'm going to make a prediction for 2005.... I think the Freedom are on the right track and will be competing for the division next year.... we might just have a legit 4 team race which will be even more exciting!

Sure glad I had the division handed to me by the Undead a week ago! Jeremy, I think I owe you more than just 1 beer!

Again, congrats on your victory Jim, hopefully it'll soothe you over till the 2005 season knowing that you beat me the last game you were on the field!

P.S. - Thanks for the island hospitality, the hula girls were AMAZING... hopefully my guys won't lose too much focus as we head home to the snowy cold confines of Buffalo and prepare for the Dodgers, a team that historically has given us hadaches! Should be interesting!

You're welcome Mike... I'm not at liberty to share with you what the girls said about your players... but suffice it to say that we had to highly compensate them to make up for the "hazard duty" they took on last weekend. It all worked out, though... next year, we'll still roll out the red carpet for you... just be careful we don't yank it back out from under your feet!
