Jeffy's 12th among QB's and has come on very strong of late.

He's grossly overpaid at 985 (no doubt)... but seeing some of the crazy FA figures that scrubs are getting (and Garcia is NOT a scrub) there's no guarantee he won't sell as high or higher if he were to hit the open market.

I'm not looking to rape anyone in a deal... just make a fair offer (which in light of his high salary I don't expect much in return).

Mike, you're losing it. Where's the "he's currently 12th, but I fully expect him to finish the season in the top 5. His salary will seem like a bargain at years end" I've come to expect from you?

I like keeping y'all off balance.

The reality is the salary can't be hidden... it'd be interesting to see where he goes on the open market... but I'm not at the point yet where I have to make that decision. Nor do I aniticipate it unless I need cap space to acivate Bennett (not too likely).
