Wow, why now? Should have done this a couple weeks ago... now Deuce can't be activated for the next 4 weeks, and I think he might return before then!

I was holding out hope he would make it back sooner rather than later. However with Saints having a Week 8 bye McCallister could be activated when they return for Week 9 correct?

Yes, the bye week will count as one of the 4 weeks on IR, so you can re-activate him for the week 9 games.

I figured you were thinking he may not play till the bye... and you could be right, but I have a feeling he might return a week or 2 before then.

I hear he's been running and is now a good possibility to start week 6 in the Sunday night game against Minnesota.

I guess if you're going to spend 750+ for RB Zeroue to be your RB for the next 4 weeks, you can make this move...

Yeah, but Amos is NO Deuce... and McAlister actually played this PAST weekend and ran for over 100 yards... OUCH... luckily for Matt he still pulled out a win!

Hey, I am undefeated with him on the IR. I did not actually expect him to make it back but with Zereoue for this week and then Chester Taylor filling in for Jamal I guess we will see what happens.

In retrospect I should have cut my losses with Shipp earlier and used that covet IR spot on McCallister earlier in the season. Oh, well I have never had a season with so many injuries to key players so I am still trying to learn the in's and out's of the options available.
