Time to take a break!
 

The offices of the ROYAL HAWAIIAN OPIHI will be dark for the next couple of weeks, as team owner, Jim White is about to pack up the kids, spouse & luggage and head off to Southern CA! He'll be "doing the Disneyland thing" and even taking in a Padres baseball game... then on to a week of meetings in Redlands, CA.

(I hate talking in this third-person mode...)
If you want to be in contact with me (like you've gotta add James Allen to your roster and are dying to make a trade with me!)... just drop me an email, though it might take for me a while to respond. I won't have email access from June 10-17... but limited from the 18-24.

We'll be back in full-swing on the 25th!

In the meantime, I've given Mike a list of a few players I'm targeting... so he has approval to make bids on my behalf UP TO A POINT (Got that, Mike?! No unauthorized running up of my salary cap while I'm away!).

Hope you all have a great couple of weeks. I'm very much looking forward to taking my two kids to Disneyland for the first time ever (they're 7 & 4 years old!).

This will be one of my last posts for about 9-10 days or so. Heading out tomorrow at high noon for sunny CA! My kids are chomping at the bit to get to Disneyland... and we're looking forward to taking them.

Have a great trip and enjoy your time on the mainland. As for Johnson, if no one else wants him, $195 does not seem like a bad deal to me for a guy who should be a number 3 WR as a rookie. Kind of like the price of a mid 3rd round pick (about where I would have taken him had I had an extra pick). Looks like a good DS player.

No longer enough DS $ for Mr. Johnson.

Disney is great!! I was there this past weekend, my first time. Had a blast and you will too.

Had a great vacation! Good to be back in Hawaii, however, where the air is clean and you can actually see the mountains (but it was a great educational time re: pollution for my kids!). Now I'm going to try and catch up on the league action since I left. Can't believe STL's D went for only 100!?!?

I imagine it must be tough to have to return to HI. In terms of missing things, until your post the board has been pretty dead. Glad to have you back on the board and glad you had a good trip!
