Hey everyone.
If you are in the FBG 20k contest post your roster here and I will add it to this site:

This will let you get your stat results before FBG post their update.

This is open to anyone on the message board.

You may want to move this to the general forum so anyone on the board can have this little bonus that participated in the FBG contest... Twilight at FBG is hosting a similar service for those in the Spring and MB Survivor leagues as well, but I think it'll be neat to see how our users fair against each other.

call me stupid, but what is the contest the FootballGuys are having? what is the 20K...as in $20,000!!! or what?


Obviously doesn't work for Dynasty since we have DS...or does it?

They had a contest for subscribers.

You submit a roster under a $250 cap from a list of avail players (and
salaries).

They take your best lineup each week based on results. Each week some are
eliminated and in the end the winner gets like 15,000. There are a bunch of
other prizes too (projection TVs etc).

I won't win, but it will be fun to see how far I last.

Whoa, I didnt even realize I scored so well in week 1. I checked the contest results and actually got 11th place overall! 189.5 pts in week 1. Nice.........now if I can only keep it up...............(not likely).

Skippy- were you able to program this to only take the highest scores? Meaning it knows to ignore the two lowest QB's scores?

I lost by .6. My receivers screwed me too. At least there is still a slim chance of winning a projection TV.

How did you guys get eliminated, when you scored higher than I did last week? Is this a cumulative scoring thing? If so, I'll probably be toast next week...

Jim,

The cutoff was at 8000 teams this week. The points cutoff was 108.90 I believe, thus, I'm sorry to tell you that you were eliminated this week as well as Skip and Brian :(.

Well bust my britches! You're correct, Mike... I advanced down to the bottom of the page to see who was eliminated, and missed the "eliminated during week 3" list. DUH!

So much for my 20K plans...
