Okay, this is it. This is the weekend of arch-rivalries: Bears-Packers, Undead-Predators. It doesn't get any better than this. The tone of the season gets set right here. After the cardiac win over the Freedom, we can't allow ourselves a letdown. Let's get pumped up! Let's do this!

The Predators have the week 1 jitters out of their system (and we still escaped with a win), and look to go 2-0 on the season with another big win against an arch rival.

Does it get any better than LT vs. Priest? Thomas Jones vs. Kevan Barlow? Marvin Harrisson and Chad Johnson vs. Hines Ward and Santana Moss?

The game is ON!

Aaaaargh! The highest avg. scoring team, the 2nd highest score two weeks running, and I'm 1-1! To quote Dr. Zachary Smith, "Why does this always happen to me? Always to me?" Am I doomed to play Sosa to your McGwire? I even got outplayed in the WR matchup, my area of greatest strength! Curse you predators! [shakes fist]

My ride at the top may last a while longer than you and Jim might wish ;) These 2 big Division wins were a great start to our attempts to defend last years title. I';ll have my down weeks to be sure (ie. week 7 when I take my annual dive against the Dodgers), but last weeks ugly win and this weeks earned win will likely have a huge impact on the playoff race... one I'd anticipate will be another 3 way tie (just like last year) when all is said and done (if injuries hadn't destroyed Matt's team this could been a tight 4 man race).

Next up are the Derby Cars... should be a fun one.

BTW Jeremy, I believe my 165+ pts is the 2nd highest in team (and league) history. Does that make you feel any better? :sick: :laugh:

Ah, I love to get my props on those rare circumstances that I deserve them.

Also Mike, while your 165+ points is second highest in your teams history, it is far from the record. It will fall as a mere 8th highest score ever. I won't go through all the other scored, but I will remind you of my crowning acheivement, 191.75 points back in 2002, crushing the Rabid Llamas by over 100 points.

Thank you for straightening that out kind sir... is there ANY way you'd be willing to forward a copy of your statistics worksheets? I promise not to pulich Sams work, would just like to see the layout and whatnot and consider using the format for other leagues.

As for our week 7 meeting, I'm certain you've noticed you catch me with 3 starters on bye! Key ones too... I'm missing Barlow, Ward and Andre Johnson! OUCH! I think your undefeated streak against me will last another year barring a monumental upset on my part!

I'll forward some of what I have your way, but I think you'll be disappointed. It wouldn't take much effort I'm sure to come up with something better. I started these sheets before I was very good with excel, and now that I know more, instead of improving them, I just use what I had. I'm a creature of habit.

As far as week 7, I'm out Duce Staley as well. Unless Julius Jones makes a miraculous recovery, or Edge is still banged up, I'll be hurting there. I don't have much talent at the other positions to make up for his loss.

You're not seriously trying to imply that the loss of Staley is anywhere near equivelent to my losses of Barlow, Ward, and Andre Johnson week 7 are you? I know you MUST be kidding. :wow

It is as significant to my team as those losses are to yours. I have no one to backup Duce (now). My only other starter at RB is Tiki. You still have LT2, and a most likely heatlhy Bennet with Onterio sitting his suspension. Boo hoo for you, huh? I don't know off hand who you'll have to come in at WR, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess they are no worse than the scrubs I have starting for me every week.
