The Mutts will send TE Jason Witten and RB Ron Dayne to Squirrel Chasers for BDSC's best 3rd rounder in 2005.

I confirm. I'm not at work right now so I'll make roster changes if necessary tomorrow. I should have 2 open slots with the release of Cason though.

Wow, I love this deal for Joe... not much downside when you're only giving up a 3rd rd pick!

Plus, Jake just blew 400 cb's on Eric Johnson (he'll be injured before wk 4). I like Witten's prospects much better.

And Dayne helps the Squirrels with some badly needed RB depth.

Not a bad deal at all for Joe!

With my injury problems I could have sent you back your own third rounder (or possibly even a second rounder) for that pair. I think Witten will turn out great with Parcell's and Dayne seems to be getting a shot if nothing else.

I think I like Joe's outcome (at least for now)!
