Active squad:

Thomas Jones 2 yrs
Marvin Harrison 1 yr
Drew Bennett 3 yrs
Tai Streets 1 yr
Bears D 2 yrs

DS:

Place Bruce Perry on the IR.

Since that gives me a bonus contract year for the DS, I'll assign years as follows:

Bruce Perry 5 years
Cody Pickett 4 yrs
Ben Watson 2 yrs

If I interpret the rules incorrecty and I don't get the bonus year to the DS, then give Perry 4 yrs.

Will cut Malaefou Mackenzie and Matt Kranchick in separate threads.

players on IR count against the Active roster. So if you place a DS player on IR you are in effect promoting them to the Active squad.

I didn't see anything in the rules that suggested that. In fact, this sentence seems to suggest the opposite (that he would remain on the DS):

<quote>When a player is placed on IR, 50% of their salary will count against your cap (either active or DS, depending where the player was before the IR move)</quote>

I realize I'm up against the deadline here, however, and will live with the consequences.

Yah, I had the same understanding... we could put DS players on the IR, too.

Yes, Jeremy was right, I'm just mixing up rules between the CDL and Frenzy lol (hard to keep it all straight sometimes).

Anyhow, i've indicated DS IR players with a DS in the Flag field (Jeremy's is the only 1 thus far). It's a bit more complicated to track than just that, however, since (I have to manually edit some of the formulas and whatnot to keep the salary and years from counting against their active caps, but I "think" I have that all worked out.
