Mutts and Undead in Violation of Contract/DS Declarations
 

Both the Mutts and the Undead have missed the deadline this evening to declare contracts and assign DS/active for rookies.

I'll check the rules in the morning to determine what level of roster penalties will be assessed against both these clubs.

Guys, I just sent Mike a message explaining... an emergency at work kept me from submitting last night. In fact I haven't slept in 2 days now. I was faced with either handling my Company or the Frenzy... and it didn't really leave me with much of a choice. My apologies to all of you.

I'll post the changes I would have made, but I too throw myself at the league's mercy... I guess the 1st pick in 2005 may be waiting for me again.

I'm gonna take a little compassionate executive liberty here, and assess only a 250cb cap penalty against the Undead and the Mutts. While both teams missed the midnight ET deadline, neither were trying to cheat the rules or work the system in any way IMO.

Does anyone feel this is too harsh or too easy? The rules call for a 500cb penalty, and all rooks being released to free agency and whatnot... which is far to harsh for either team in this circumstance IMO.

Cool with me... I do not envy you, Mike. Being the Rules Meister is no fun. But we appreciate all that you do to keep this league moving ahead fairly!
