Freedom start the UFA period off right
 

The Freedom have landed their biggest free agent in team history. Joining the team on Saturday May 29, 2004 was Benjamin James Marshall. While he is a little undersized (read five and a half pounds and about a foot and a half long) his potential is limitless. He and mother are both doing great and are at home now.

The team is looking forward to getting to know him and will be looking at where he can best serve (and based on his Dad's past success it might just be as GM) and thanks you all for your thoughts and prayers.

PS for Jim- this means I will be handling all of my UFA duties but thank you for your kind and generous offer to provide assistance.

I take it this is your 1st. My 2 boys are 11 and 8, so those newborn days seem like AGES ago. The time goes fast, enjoy it all you can!

BTW, don't by shy about taking care of the baby, and also your wife! Family is what life is all about.

Congrats! I have a 2 1/2 and 7 month old (no more planned...whew).

You are in for quite a ride. It's a lot of work, but man, the benefits are awesome (wait until he smiles at you for the first time!!!). Mike also hit the nail on the head about paying attention to your wife. Make her feel special. A lot of attention will be going toward the baby. Make sure she is loved and cherished as well.

Once, again, Awesome!!! Enjoy the ride!!
