Freedom start the UFA period off right
 

The Freedom have landed their biggest free agent in team history. Joining the team on Saturday May 29, 2004 was Benjamin James Marshall. While he is a little undersized (read five and a half pounds and about a foot and a half long) his potential is limitless. He and mother are both doing great and are at home now.

The team is looking forward to getting to know him and will be looking at where he can best serve (and based on his Dad's past success it might just be as GM) and thanks you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Please note that I am having trouble with pictures but a website should be set up in the next few days and I will edit to add that link here.

PS for Jim- this means I will be handling all of my UFA duties but thank you for your kind and generous offer to provide assistance.

LOL... Way to go, all (that means "Mom"!)! I was reading this thinking... were we allowed to pickup FA's prior to today?! lol Enjoy this newest phase of your life. Parenthood has its ups and downs, but there are a heck of a lot more UPS than downs, in my opinion!

We tried the tried-n-true stork method for our first child, but the trade winds weren't blowing, so he was 2 weeks late. We went with "Brown" for our second child... much quicker results! ;)
