4.12 WR Jericho Cotchery - NY Jets

I almost went with a homer pick here with a local boy that went to the cowpokes, but in the end I had to fgo with the most potential upside, and that's Jericho.

As stated in an article on the Jet's website:

This guy broke the NC State records of the guy who might be the best receiver in the game today, Torry Holt. Playing with QB Philip Rivers (the 4th overall pick in the draft), he had ample opportunity to show his stuff. At 6-0, 200 pounds he’s a decent sized receiver, but again, more important than that is the production he had on the field. With over 200 catches and 3,000 yards, he’s a playmaker who is not afraid to go across the middle of the field and make the tough catch. Where he’ll fit in the Jets offense is still to be determined, but I would imagine it would be inside. Santana Moss and Justin McCareins will play outside, and you’ll have Wayne Chrebet and this kid in the slot.

At pick # 60, this kid has as much upside as any other remaining player, if not more, in fact I like him better than the virtually every other pick made in the 4th round. Cotchery will be battling it out with 3rd rounder Samie Parker to make the Predators 04 Development Squad.
