Y'all left me the arrogant little punk, but at 1.12 I think he's a great value.

I have SERIOUS concerns about Gilbride being his QB Coach, but Eli will have some talent around him to work with and a decent offensive line. If Gilbride was his OC I'd pass, hopefully he won't mess the kid up too much.

I think Eli needs some time to develop, but Coughlin and Gilbride did a decent job with Brunell so I think the more talented Manning can be tutored just as well.

Like Tatum Bell, Eli is a huge boom or bust gamble, but as I I told Skippy in my other league, safe picks are for .500 or worse teams. I'm swinging for the fences. Thanks guys! ;)

Just like Fitz, I can't say good pick, just good luck.

I will disent on the one point that this is a boom/bust pick. I think Eli is the safest pick in this draft (at any position). I don't think even Gilbride can mess this kid up. His dad won't be able to meddle with him on the field, and I think his ego has been overblown. You don't have that kind of football lineage and bust. I don't see it anyways. (Take that as you kiss of death if you will, Mike).
