Well earned Championship Dave! Your Echids may have been the 2 seed due to my Preds lucky regular season win, but you were clearly the best all around team all season long, leading the league in both Scoring and All-Play wins.

On my end, although losing another championship game is disappointing, I take pride in my Preds in making it to 4 Frenzy Bowl championship games in the past 5 years (only missing what would have been a 5th straight appearance 2 seasons ago when I lost in the Divisional round as the 1 seed). Unfortunately my Preds have gone 0-3-1 in our 4 recent Championship games (including this year), almost paralleling my own hometown Bills who lost 4 straight Super Bowls in the early 90's.

Ultimately as team managers, we can only do so much, in the end, matchups and luck certainly play a huge role, and what will be, will be. I gave it my best this year but fell short, it is what it is! Instead of being down, I'm taking pride in being consistently successful for the last 5 years and hope to carry that success on into 2026.

It sure would be nice to get over the hump and actually outright win one of these Frenzy Championships again. Have had 4 (almost 5) good looks at a W and have come up short each time (so much like my Bills and the Vikings). Our Championship drought will be stretching into year 13 going into 2026. Ugh!

It's been a great year, and I'm proud to take the championship trophy to the southern hemisphere.

Also want to shout out to Brandon for taking the SACD crown this year. I was shocked to learn it's been 15 years since He and I joined Preds/SACD as co-owners back in 2010.

But also, thanks Rick for knocking him out in the first round of Frenzy.

Congrats Dave and to everyone it was a fun season.. Looking forward to the Pirates improving next year to get back to the playoffs.
