Pred's Fantasy Football Forums - Greek Mythology League gets a new PERMANENT name

The Greek Mythology League is now the Chameleon Dynasty League (CDL for short)... I've renamed the forums with Skip's OK. For purposes of making board maintenance easier, I had requested Skip to come up with one name. The Chameleon Dynasty League name had been thrown out there by one of the league members in the past, and no one objected and only a few replied to Skip's post in late March (http://www.predsff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3774) so we went with it.

The Chameleon Dynasty League is now the permanent name for the league. All the leagues posts and whatnot are still in place in the Chameleon Dynasty League (CDL) forums. The theme is still Greek Mythology for 2004, and will continue to change each year. A friend of mind is making up a Chameleon logo for the league which should be up soon.

Nothing else has changed, just the name!

For those who don't understand what I'm talking about, the CDL is a Dynasty league whose theme changes each year with each champion. In the past we've changed the league name as well, but that is just too cumbersome, so we've adopted a new permenant name that is reflective of our leagues changing nature!

The league champ will continue to pick a theme that all teams must name their teams around. For those that may be interested, in the inaugural 2002 season, the theme was Rookies, and we had such colorful team names as 1st Round Flops, Rookie Mistakes, and New Recruits. In 2003 the league had a theme of 80's Hair Bands, and we had names like Great White Lion Snake, Spinal Tap, and Cherry Pies! The 2004 theme is based on Greek Mythology in honor of the upcoming Olympics, and some of our team names are Zeus' Fury, Cerberus' Drool, and Thessaly Centaurs!
