Question about league format
 

Is there a reason this league is led by forums still? As a newcomer, feels like we could do all of this in any current dynasty app (I think sleeper is best), and it would allow for promotions, starting lineups, cuts, etc, to happen in real time.

Most dynasty apps have customization options that would line up with ours. At the worst we would relieve some work from our commissioner.

(Actually, good question. We do a heck of a lot with the forums. I'm using Sleeper for a couple of leagues, and I find their message center woefully lacking... but maybe we wouldn't need as many messages if it had other functions that could work as well. I'm open to suggestions on how to improve!)

I've not really looked into other apps to run league. The forums were $108 this year, and MFL another $74. So how does that compare to other apps that could handle everything we do?

Sleeper does not work for me. Never has. Can't even create an account. I only use websites and theirs doesn't work. I tried to join a league earlier this year and contacted support. Their only solution was to use the Sleeper app on my phone...which doesn't work for me so I didn't join that league.

Yah, it's strange that Sleeper has two formats... laptop and mobile... and there aren't the same components on each. I'm thinking the complexity of this league is very unique.
