Re: RB Thomas Jones - Chicago SOLD for 1500 to the Undead (Match PENDING from the Swords)

The Swords have 72 hours from the time of the Undeads winning bid to match or decline their 1500cb offer sheet to the next "Faulk" hehe

Liquid Swords decline to match the Undead's offer of 1500. :thumbsdow

Too steep for my blood, but good luck with him, Undead.

I can't believe this is the same Thomas Jones from previous season... yah, new team, new opportunity... but $1500 for him?!?! Call me a skeptic... but this seems rather steep for a "known" quantity!

No kidding... I did NOT understand the bidding here... perhaps Jeremy as a Bears homer and the winning bidder can explain!

Once he went over 1000cbs, I lost all interest....but I wish I'd known he would have been worth a 2nd round tender instead of the 3rd round tender I gave him.

If you would have done that... I would have thought you were crazy (and were going to get stuck with an overpriced contract)! Guess I would have been wrong!

I've been traveling all this week (and through the weekend) so I'm afraid I don't have time to file the entertaining stories everyone else is writing! Suffice to say, I think the homer factor is good for a 10-25% premium on RFA contracts tendered! "Headed for a Heartbreak" is going through my head, what could that mean....

That's OK, you can file your "story" when you get back... they're always a very entertaining read that I look forward to! ;)
