Roster issue with Bees
 

I see this player gained in this trade was not put on IR, and i show bees as over cap since this trade, roster app has Jonathan taylor on IR, so trying to determine what is true, https://www.predsff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36385

bees has taylor going today, but if taylor is on his active then he's over cap. sp id assume then this player is still on IR.
so i set bees roster to next best projected RB, singeltary, un less he wants to start elliot instead, just a heads up.

Looking back i see bees has started taylor in previous weeks, so unless a move to cut or place another player on IR was made, we have a serious problem with previous weeks

i guess its not an issue as hes lost all those games he started Taylor in. so now im rolling with my update of moving him to IR and starting singletary in his place, unless a cut or move can be foudn to get bees under cap.

roster app and MFL salaries match, unless there was an incorrect entry there. Ill look later.

Sorry...I am just now aware of this and didnt know it was an issue. Whatever needs to be done in the past. If deleting all his points is on the table, that is fine. I will resolve the issues this week moving forward.

partially my fault for not keeping on top of it. but i think no need to remove points from previous games, unless there's a possible issue with playoff spot. I'll have to check our rules for playoffs. your whoopin me hard in this weeks game with singletary.

The first line of trade is what prompted me to keep Taylor on IR as it says "Heading to Bees...- IR"

On different note, I'd like to see us go back to the 4 week (or >1) min stay on IR

All Play Wins may be impacted which could impact the teams fighting for the 6 seed.

Unfortunately we can't edit past lineups, however, I should be able to setup a negative adjustment for points Taylor had each week he was started while on IR, and then rerun the stats for each week, which would then adjust the All Play wins accordingly.

Should I do that?

i think so, but can we sub in another player in that calculation? i9f not, then just removing taylor is our only real option then to adjust all play.

Lineups cannot be modified. Can only do a scoring adjustment. Not for nothing, but he should get a 0 for Taylor those weeks he was started, not a substitute, as he submitted a lineup, just not a valid one as Taylor was on IR (just not reflected so on MFL).

I thought even if a traded player goes to the IR, the receiving team still has to have room on active roster to make the trade first? Or is they are already on the IR, can go directly to other teams IR, so only needs room for half salary and partial years?

he definitely would be fine if taylor was on IR. no cuts needed.

SO... was he moved straight to IR? If so, nothing to see here.
I'm fine with his (implied) order being: 1) trade away Metcalf, 2) receive Taylor, 3) keep Taylor on IR, 4) promote Addison to active.

The question at hand is rerunning the stats for the weeks he started Taylor, when he was actually on IR. Bess lost all the games, however, the loss of Taylor's points on the weeks he started him when he shouldn't have may impact All Play Wins for other teams fighting for the 6th seed.

So, do I setup negative adjustment's for each of those weeks on the Bees Scores to offset the points Taylor got, and rerun the weekly standings, or do we just leave things as is?

Personally, the contributing factor in this being an issue was MFL didnt show him as IR/inactive when I went to submit my lineup. If that was the case, it would have given me the reminder that I needed to make the adjustment on the forum/roster.

I don't really care what the implications are anymore. Whatever you guys decide.

OOOOHHHHHHH.... I didn't realize that he didn't go directly to IR. (I know you said it, but I just forgot that point when I was posting.) Yes, set up a negative point adjustment for those weeks. Sorry.

Since this could impact all-play, then I would say we need to adjust (subtract Taylor points for those weeks) and re-run weekly standings. My two pennies anyway.

Recalculation has been done. Removing Taylor's stats for weeks 6, 7 and 8 resulted in the following changes to All Play wins:

Parkwood Predators -1 (now 76 All Play wins instead of 77)
Zombie Pirates -1 (now 69 All Play wins instead of 70)
Liquid Swords +1 (now 53 All Play wins instead of 52)
Philadelphia Freedom +1 (now 41 All Play wins instead of 40)
Six Killer Bees -1 (now 27 All Play wins instead of 28)
Ramsters +1 (now 23 All Play wins instead of 22)
