2023 Expired TS/PS Players
 

The following players will lose their TS Eligibility on May 6, 2023 and will be automatically promoted to Active unless cuts are made prior to May 6. One thing I'm still unsure of is when year need to be assigned - after promotion or yearly declarations?

If max on PS players is 5 years (unsure on this per rule changes with contracts years wiped out), then the following player would be automatically promoted from PS to Active. If they can reside on PS for infinity, this wouldn't apply.

Chatting with Mike, Burt, and Jim...the max for PS is still 5 years. Also discussing when years need to be assigned...maybe 24 or 72 hours after rollover for auto promotions?

If a TS/PS player is auto-promoted when the new season rolls around, then a team will have 72 hours to declare years. If they do not, 1 year will be the default year. If they want to cut a player that has been auto-promoted, it will default to 1 year of cap hit.

Just stay on top of your rosters, folks... that's all. We all have to declare our RFAs around this time anyway. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk. ;)
