I would have given him another year, but his rookie bonus bumps him 400 more this year

Allen was drafted in the 3rd round - max salary for a 3rd round QB is 1088 - reneg takes him beyond that salary, so there will not be a bonus added this year, or any other year, to Allen's salary.

So if you want to change it to 5 years, do so soon.
