Wolverines Look to 2022 while Swords Look to Another Championship <MFL Updated>

After trading shots of whiskey, the Wolverines and Swords trade a pair of RBs.

#Swords send to #Wolerines
#Draft 2022 2nd Round Draft Pick
#Titans RB Derrick Henry, TEN (1/2500) on IR

#Wolerines send to #Swords
#Vikings RB Dalvin Cook, MIN (1/1648)

The Wolverines acquire a 2022 2nd round draft pick and now own RFA rights to Henry, the most dangerous RB in the league, while the Swords bolster the strength of their RB corps with the addition of Cook.

Craig to confirm.

So basically a late 2nd rd pick for half a season of Cook? The RFA status is a wash as both will/should be tendered as 1sts. On the surface pretty inexpensive for Cook.

That said, this might be a good case for the newly minted Franchise Tag to come into play so Wolverines can guarantee the services of Henry in 2022 (that is if his body doesn't continue to break down from overuse by the #Titans)!

With Cooks potential legal situation this seems like a bit of a gamble to me and priced as such. Might regret letting go of Mattison...

Does Wolverines want Henry to remain on IR? I don't see that specified, I'd assume yes but Craig should confirm.
