Remove years from players contract on Practice Squad - only assign years when moving to active roster, and contract still becomes guaranteed at that time.

I love this proposal. I think it really helps us make the PS players developmental... they RARELY get promoted to active... most of the time we just end up cutting these guys because they don't pan out. By eliminating the years initially, it will reward good drafting. We'll still have to put years down for them when/if we move them to active.

I guess one question is...does this apply to current players on PS? Do we need to have a different vote on this? Or do current PS players retain their years?

That's what the Runoff vote is addressing for both the TS and PS
