900 or less and we would have matched. Bummed we can’t keep him. Even more bummed we tendered a level too low. Coulda had a 2nd rd tenderer instead of a 3rd, but was hoping to keep the bidding down.

High risk play at that salary, but likely worth it. Best of luck with him. FWIW I think he’s a top 5 TE in 2020.

The Pirates welcome Tyler into the Zombie Pirate's band of cutthroats to help as we commandeer the championship this season.
The Pirates knew of the risk when we bid and look forward to his help this season and possibly longer.

Because I invested a shitload at WR and have Hooper for cheap 1 more year and Dawson Knox who I like a lot as well. Hooper and Higbee also share the same bye. I woulda traded Hooper but wasn’t happy with the offers I received previously.
