Draft winners...
I'm pretty sure Detroit and Baltimore won the draft...now, that doesn't mean it will translate into more wins, but man they didn't miss much every time on the clock...

Dallas did pretty well, too.

I like what Buffalo did.

Re: Draft winners...
Seahawks draft was once again confusing...but can't really argue with their success lately, so what do I know....

BTW, we count Diggs as our 1st rd pick. The picks we gave up to get Diggs would have only gotten us up 4 spots from pick 22 to pick 18. Curiously, the top 3 WR's were gone by pick 17. Every other WR is more of a project. Instead, they picked up a rocksolid #1 WR with NFL experience that will step in and be an asset quicker than any rookie WR could have. Love our GM Brandon Beane for this move (and many others)! They also selected a couple taller WR's in later rounds (Gabriel Davis in the 4th & Isaiah Hodgins in the 6th) to give the offense more options in 2020, as well as finding a QB to challenge Barkley for QB2 behind Allen (Jake Fromm state farm) and a PK to challenge Haushka (Bass) also in the 5th. Our GM openly said that after the 3rd, he only drafted players that he felt could make the team and challenge incumbents to improve the overall depth. The Bills have a well rounded, deep roster, we need to see Allen improve, but he's been given more weapons to work with and returns 10 of 11 starters on offense but adds Diggs & Moss at skill positions (not to mention the additional OL depth they signed this off-season. It's an exciting time to watch this Bills team grow. PS, I am a Bills :homer:! |
