Unless you're a Chief's fan, or follow the Utah State Aggies, you're probably saying to yourself, "WHO?!?!" Well, remember the name: Darwin Thompson (and if you need to see some of his game tape, click here!). He's 5'8"... but don't call him "short" (people have been making that mistake for years!). He's a solid 200lbs, and is extremely strong (can squat 7 reps at 515lbs.), with explosiveness and breakaway speed (think Darren Sproles). He's got an INCREDIBLE work ethic, and gets a TON of yardage after contact.

Plus, he's playing in Patrick Mahomes' KC offense! He's already getting rave reviews from OTA's by RB Coach, Eric Bieniemy. And he's on track to help replace some of the missed offensive production by Tyreek Hill's absence. Watch out for this guy in the spread offense!

"But he was a 6th round pick, who didn't even get invited to the Combine!" You say? True. And he could end up doing nothing in the NFL. But for a 3rd round boom/bust flier... I'm betting on the former!

I saw this one coming 15 picks ago. FWIW, he was near the top of my list for 3.04. When it comes to KC and RB's, he could be a complete steal. #faithinAndyReid

I debated back and forth between Mattison and Thompson... was hoping he would last until 3.6... nice pick :)
