Rookie Draft Start Date?
 

Does the Rookie Draft Start Saturday, June 1 or Monday June 3?

I only ask due to a comment in the SAC'D league regarding their rookie draft starting on June3.

Looks like 1 June since there is no specific clause to cite closing RFA early...BUT...there is nothing stopping the draft from starting now...of course no penalties on owners can accrue because we are not officially started...one of the bosses can confirm or counter this...

Frenzy starts Saturday June 1st.. We are the young rebels in SACd, and we don't start until Monday June 3rd.. Or whenever Hans decides to pick

Correct. Saturday, June 1. The draft can start at any time (should the owner with the 1.01 pick be ready)... but the 24-hour clock doesn't begin until 6/1.

Arrrggh, The Pirates will be off plundering Denver ComicCon this weekend, but will check in periodically to keep things moving.

The draft is really casual. I mean, we get into it as it moves along... but we realize that LIFE takes precedence to fantasy football... and we're totally fine with people using their full 24-hour window to make a pick, if need be. Also, there are numerous folks in our league who are willing to make a proxy pick for someone, if they'll be away from their computer and know who they want. Just ask!
