NEWS FLASH - Posting on topic regarding Devante Adams signing offer sheet with the house of Cards:

THE Chickens Think Tank (MoMoney, Lawrence and Curley-Cue) have been clunking their heads together since the 3am call from Chicken owner, The Butcher, to come up with game plan for THE Chickens future. And after getting the call that their other golden boy, Mike Evans has been taken captive by some corpses with peg legs, arm hooks and eye patches, Curley-Cue was last seen running in circles, yelling out "MO LARRY CHEESE!!!" repeatedly.
So as of sunrise this morning, no real movement on management front yet on Devante.

P.S. The Butcher was last seen storming out of Chickens headquarters with some type of Valyrian steel tipped dagger, yelling "I'm coming Mikey!!". We are still looking into the meaning behind this.....

Could this be a smoke screen ploy to throw off the scent of the UnDead?

Again, Evans is mentioned with an inference of being retained, and there is radio silence on Adams

Looks like the Frenzy Commissioner office has been notified to open an external investigation on Ghosting bid bumps through Chicken reporting system...

Of course these bid bumps do have the appearance of legitimate transactions...

This has sent the fans outside Chicken HQ into a frenzy of activity...local law enforcement has been elevated to a higher level of readiness...SWAT is on call...

There is the tiny fact of a real time deadline still in effect that would allow Chicken leadership (MoMoney responsibility) to wait this disaster out...

This just in....THE Chickens owner has returned to headquarters, The ButcherShop, disheveled and bloodied, but did have time for this comment before entering the building:
"I was on the Evans trail, and thought to have overtaken his captor, but it ended up just being some confused guy, wondering the streets dressed up in a Jack Sparrow Halloween costume, mumbling incoherently, carrying a bottle of Macallan 12-year. All I could make out of his ramblings were "Chj-Town, Cap, numbers, passion, regret, peanuts and Landry" . The blood? I tripped while running after him, and bloodied my nose.
We still have not heard from either Mike Evans or Devante Adams. In fact no one has heard from them since they signed their respective offer sheets.
We have decided to bring in consultants to help in the search - The famous dead killer, Mr Rick Grimes, and The Infamous Card Whisperer, Mr. Phil Helmuth.
Ty Cobb wanted to play, but none of us could stand the SOB when he was alive, so we told him to stick it...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The Butcher then entered headquarters with a bag of Limburger, and it could be heard inside someone yelling "MOE LARRY CHEESE!!" before the doors closed.

This statement just release from The ButcherShoppe:

"We have determined the Ghost Posting culprit - it was CurleyCue, who in their frenzied state, posting bumps to opposing coaches top WR's, in frustration on the record setting offer sheet of Mr. Adams, and subsequent simultaneous offer sheet signed by Mr. Evans, in addition to a reem of paper fax from Cards ex-capoloigist, showing the justification of letting both WR's walk. He then went into his rant, which has been resolved with a few bites of Limburger. He has been secluded into the Blue Room, and a tube of Certs mints, until the fit has passes.
We continue to try to track down both our Receivers in hopes of resolving this missing persons issue, and begin talks to negotiate a deal or provide exit papers"

The following statement has just been released from THE ButcherShip:

"The Card Whisperer, Phil Helmuth, has located Mr. Adams, and we are in contact with him via FaceTime. We are discussing his offer sheet and hope to have decision soon.
We wanted to thank Phil for his efforts, but he stormed out the door, profusely swearing about some idiot Eastern European cracking his Aces with Q-10 offsuit"

The search for Mr. Evans continues. Curley-Cue did find a drawing in the blue room, of a pair of piercing blue eyes. We are unsure as to the meaning of this.....

Paramedics have reported to Cards HQ...The crowd and media are stunned...
Apparently team owner Chuck Couch was enjoying a breakfast burrito enjoying the scene playing out at Chicken HQ when the ticker news of current division foil ECB bump of AJ Green hit...Couch inhaled a large chunk of burrito and is unconscious at the moment...

The Frenzy WR market is RED HOT once again this year with players holding leverage against their teams and playing off other owners.

One has to wonder is Green coming off an injury riddled season in which he missed 7 games and finished as W39 is worth the current offers he's receiving.

It's fascinating to see him play off the desperation of other teams, while AB languishes finding suitors in the 2019 RFA market.

That said, I think Green jumping back to a higher offer with the Burners is yet another indication that Mike Evans will be retained by the Chickens. The question to me is, will the Butcher also swallow that huge contract Adams has signed with the Cards, or will he chop Davante off and send him pecking to a rivals pasture?

After lengthy discussion with Devante, THE Chickens organization has made its decision, and will be releasing a statement via the RFA ticker. We do not want to keep Devante in suspense while we continue our search for Mr. Evans...we are still waiting to hear back from Rick Grimes, who I have been told has enlisted noted tracker Daryl Dixon, and they are hot on Mike's trail now...

1 down, 1 to go. The Preds fully expect to see a MATCH for Evans, especially in light of inferior WRs getting paid the same or more.

The Zombie Pirate’s organization just released the following statement.

“In light of the pending decision by the Chicken’s GM and Owner regarding Devante Adams’ release, we anticipate that they will be matching our offer on Michael Evans. We are expecting to hear the Chicken’s announcement shortly through a statement posted to the RFA ticker. Although we are disappointed in the possible loss of this coveted free agent, we are currently in talks with another high profile free agent and our loyal fans can be assured that our own Julio Jones is at the top of our list for resigning. Since the Chickens have not made an official announcement, we are still hopeful that Evans can line up on the other side of the field from Jones, giving us that double threat at wide out.”

Rick and Daryl reported back that they have located Mike Evans, on vacation in a lagoon. He was found on a ship in the middle of the laggon, drinking Rum and singing.....well you have to see it to believe it...
