Devante is with Cards management in an undisclosed location working on what appears to be the richest single (potentially) season contract in franchise history!!!

It is an awkward situation right now as literally everyone has an eye on the clock and a hand on a phone...other potential offers could come in and there is always other discussions on-going with his former team per league guidelines...

Devante feels like he wants a fresh start with a team building toward something special, but he still has close ties within the community through his old/current team...

Regardless of what happens he is appreciative of all teams' interest and respect shown for his on field efforts...he still feels horrible about the saga unfolding for his close friend Zach and the unfortunate degradation he had to endure...dubbed Zach-gate...

I wasn't sure where to put this (chat was logical) and wondering if it would possibly force another bump...luckily Adams was signed at this price because it was for sure our final bid. I think it is fun and should bring out some creativity. I'll try not to do it for every signing...lol

It is a lot of cap space for either of us to choke on for 1 player...we will see...
