Preds "deal" with the Cards for a 1 May transaction...

In what will become the 1st trade of the 2019 Frenzy season, the Predators will be revamping the ponys into horses by acquiring a top 10 RB in Melvin Gordon. Cards are betting on better numbers from fewer attempts from QB Kirk Cousins. The phone lines heated up after Preds Owner came back fully relaxed from an overseas trip that put him in a great state of mind.

Cap relief for the Cards, and some needed youth at RB (and QB) for the Preds as Josh Allen is expected to make the jump to QB1 on the Preds for the 2019 season, with Gordon pairing with James Connor in the backfield.

Now to find a WR2 to replace the recently released Doug Baldwin who is contemplating retirement.

Pleasure working with the Cards ownership. We wish them the best in the 2019 season, and hope Cousins puts up great numbers with those fantastic WRs at his disposal.

I am not gonna lie...it was tough getting rid of one of my guys...you know - someone you drafted and nurtured his whole professional life...I'm sure our previous talks on Cousins helped keep a deal possible...plus you know Vikes are my pro team weakness...We did need some cap relief and you did need RB help...so it was a good deal all the way around even if Min runs the ball more...no way they can win only running...

We always enjoy the back and forth with Preds...firm, but fair!!!
