My wife an I leave for Peru on Friday 10/26 and will have limited internet till we return Sunday 11/4.

Hoping Dale will be able to keep up with MFL for the league while I'm gallivanting in the Peruvian jungles!

Stay hydrated...take Tylenol in advance...don't over do it if going above 10,000 feet...expect a bloody nose due to thin air, not a problem though, those vessels are thin and tiny...

Actually messaged our primary about a Rx for Diamox which is supposed to be very helpful in preventing AMS. We will be at 8,000+ elevation for 2 nights (Sacred Valley and Aquas Calientes/Machu Picchu), then 11,000+ for 3 nights in Cuzco.

Hoping the first couple nights will help us acclimate for Cuzco, though we do have to fly into Cuzco first before we can head down a couple thousand feet to the Sacred Valley.

Hydration and Coco Tea are on the menu, along with small meals and trying to avoid over-exertion. #alsoneedtoavoiddrugtestsforcocaineafterwereturn!

Nice...my house is at around 7100 ft...that extra 1000 feet makes a difference for sure...even more to you flatlanders...

Our Cuzco Hotel has oxygen pumped into the rooms!
