You need to cut someone to make room for the Vikes D. As I'm sure you're aware, you have 24 hours to make room for him or face "Roster Penalties" :wow

Brian's Nittany Dodgers is already at the 18 player roster limit and has failed to list a cut to make room for the Vikings defense within the grace period.

I HATE playing the heavy, but for whatever reason Brian has exceeded the 24 hour grace period and is now subject to Roster Penalties as per the rules.

As a 1st offense, he is assessed a cap penalty of 20% of the winning bid amount (in this case only 20 cb's) but is also assessed a 30 day bid moratorium on the Vikings D.

Perhaps the most painful of all is the fact that Brian's 0-4 Dodgers will now have to play the weekend a man short since his other defense in on bye. The Liquid Swords catch a break here.

FYI, this can all be avoided if you list a cut and contract years with your bids as the Squirrels have done in their bid for K John Kasay.

Yup, I messed up a couple times last year and I learned the hard way. If you're worried about missing out on the grace period just list the cut with the bid. I would have Marc Bulger if it werent for my screwup last year. :(

I had the day off Friday and didn't think to take a look at things at home. Originally I was going to post a player to cut and indicate I wanted to start the Vikes D if I won the bid, then I figured if I posted that I'd get my bid upped. Ah well, live and learn. I have a feeling the Vikes D won't be the difference.
