Garcia takes big paycut, resigns with Predators
 

The Predators announced this evening that they have been able to reach a new contract agreement with QB Jeff Garcia just a short 24 or so hours from when they released him.

The club saved over 68% in resigning Jeff at 895 cb's. The deal is reportedly for 2 years.

To make room for Jeff the team released QB Kordell Stewart. Rumors have it that having Kordell in the same lockeroom as Jeff was just too tempting for the two, and one of them had to go. Since Jeff is clearly far more talented than Kordell, it was an easy decision for the club .
