So can someone confirm that the next big date for team owners is 27 Aug - for contract year designations, and roster placement for draftees and free agents.

Well, minus the periodic trading of Burts never ending 2nd round draft picks, Opihi still searching for top notch 100 cbs WR/RB, Pred picking up at least 1 more Buffalo Bill, Scorp still looking for roster allocation for 1 more Bronco, and maybe me hunting another retiree to acquire...

Under 11C Season Timeline:

The first Tuesday following the last game 3rd NFL pre-season week at 12:00am - this will be a flexible date each year that basically commences the day after the 3rd pre-season games end (4th for the few teams that play 5). This will be approximately 7-10 days before the NFL regular season kicks off - Injured Reserve Opens

The first Tuesday following the last game 3rd NFL pre-season week at 11:59pm - this will be a flexible date each year that basically commences the day after the 3rd pre-season games end (4th for the few teams that play 5). This will be approximately 7-10 days before the NFL regular season kicks off - Off-Season Free Agency ENDS and RFA/UFA/Rookie Declarations are due

The first Wednesday following the last game 3rd NFL pre-season week 12:00am (flexible date to be the day after contracts and DS are declared) - opening of In-Season Free Agency

Tuesday 8/28 at 12:00 AM - IR opens
Tuesday 8/28 at 11:59 PM - Roster Declarations are due
Tuesday 8/28 at 11:59 PM - Off-Season ends
Wednesday 8/29 at 12:00 AM - In-Season begins
