We would have loved to bring back the Old Guy, at a reduced salary, to teach some of our younger RB's how to conduct themselves on and off the field, but due to a much higher than anticipated bid we we will NOT be MATCHING it. Good Luck Shady!... You will need it in the rebuilding stages of the Buffalo Bills.

Woot! A blessing (albeit expected) after our communications gaffe this evening.

We intentionally bid high on Shady to make it a difficult match.

While the sting of losing AB hurts, we are happy to have found a second everydown multipurpose RB1 to pair with Kareem Hunt. Having 2 of the top 6 RB's from 2017 is exciting.

Yes the Bills O-Line is a mess, the WRs suck, and the QB is a question, however, we actually believe in the direction the organization is headed and fully anticipate another great season from Shady.

It's early and still developing, but potentially terrible news for Bills RB LeSean McCoy.

From ProFootballTalk: "A disturbing domestic violence allegation has surface on social media against Bills running back LeSean McCoy, and it has sparked an effort by the team to learn more.

"Via Diana Russini of ESPN, the Bills are aware of the allegation, and they are looking into the situation.
"A friend of McCoy’s girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, has posted what is claimed to be a photo of Cordon with graphic facial injuries, along with a message that contends McCoy is responsible for them."
McCoy just released a statement on Instagram strongly denying the claims.

We'll obviously be watching this one closely. Hopefully we'll get the truth soon.

It feels callous to talk about Football with issues like this but I'm aware you subscribe for Football info. A potential addition like DeMarco Murray would likely be in play if McCoy were to miss time. Chris Ivory would be in play as well.

Guilty until proven innocent these days.

I'll react IF and when there is actual evidence against him.

And McCoy states he hasn't been around the claimant in months and steadfastly deny's it. Shouldn't be too hard to prove he's innocent if wasn't there. Time will tell. To me it reeks of an attention seekers. We'll see. Hope it's the BS I suspect it is. If true, then he's a F'ing idiot and deserves whatever comes his way, but personally, based on what we've seen of McCoy the last couple seasons I don't believe it.
