Rookie Bonus Question

Are Rookie Bonuses calculated on the players position relative to peers weeks 1-17, weeks 1-16 that league plays games through including playoffs, or the 1-13 week regular season?

Rookie Bonuses are calculated relative to peers for weeks 1-17.

i have thought that maybe we should discuss only using our regular season, weeks 1-13 for the bonus.

10-4, thanks for the update. Just trying to figure out what Kamara's new salary will be.

For my $0.02 I'd be in favor either 1-16 or 1-13 over 1-17... maybe something to consider. And not just because Kamara blew up in wk 17, but also for players like Gurley, Bell, or T Hill who's yearly point total is suppressed because they were inactive week 17 on playoff teams.

I understand the motivation.

But given the pain of determining rookie bonuses I'm not sure it's worth the extra effort to calculate based on a partial year.

Though I'm sure Burt would be thrilled if you volunteered to make the calculations for the next 5 years as payment for making this change.

Ha ha... yah, fair enough. I guess i assumed that it wouldn't be any more difficult since the MFL site lets you sort players by week, but ya, your right that might be a huge assumption on my part.

sooo I'm an idiot and didn't see the stat filter option by week.....yes it is potentially no more difficult.

Bobby usually does Rookie Bonuses actually. I would be OK if Playoff totals were included, but yah, it would take a lot more effort to calculate things, and quite frankly, we do not get paid enough to add more load to the pile...but you can always put it up for a vote...

Yaw, its 3 clicks, so not that much more effort. I mentioned it because I don't like to pay my guys more CBs and don't get any thing in return. I could use that $ to give other employees a small raise (my mascot wants to reneg his treat agreement).
