Who woulda thunk McCown could net a decent contract, truth is he's played surprisingly well and the Jets are much better than the tanking trainwreck everyone expected.

QB was about the only stable position on Burners and last weekend brought that sand castle down!!! Sam Bradford week to week injury upgrades to career threatening, stud QB Aaron Rodgers breaks the other collarbone and is lost for season and backup Jameis Winston sustains the same injury that sent another Tampa Bay QB to the IR earlier in the year. Fortunately Winston's AC joint sprain isn't quite as severe so he may be able to play through the pain but I couldn't take the chance of fielding a line up without a QB hence I overpaid for my perception of the best free agent available.
