Change in ownership...
 

When Rich (Rabid Llamas) announced he was leaving the league, I reached out to my buddy, Miguel, who I know from a traditional redraft fantasy league (and he's a member of my church) to fill the slot. He was interested & excited about it. However, since then, he hasn't been able to be online like is needed to stay active in this league... and before the UFA period gets too far along, it seems to be necessary to make a change. This is difficult for me because Miguel is a friend. However, for the good of the league, it's vital that we have owners who are active and committed. It's obviously not a good time in Miguel's life right now for participation in the Frenzy... so we're going to go in a new direction for ownership. Burt has a friend who's ready to come in and be active. He'll post shortly to introduce us to this new guy.

I'm not going to pause the UFA period... I'll leave it to Burt to get his friend up to speed. There's still time for a new owner to make some significant UFA signings, and have a competitive team for the 2017 season.

Rick Young will be taking over the team. He is a poker buddy of mine. I just emailed the particulars to the people in charge, so hoping he will be setup and ready to roll sometime tonight. I'll be available for mentoring and questions - hopefully we can get him up to speed quickly. He is experienced in FF, and when I was describing our league, he was more salivating, then eyes rolling in back of his head...so I think he is ready to jump in feet first...

Hey Guys!... Thanks for the welcome and inviting me in to play! I already have the rules book printed out and will go through it pretty quickly to get up to speed. I am very excited and look forward to winning my first Feeding Frenzy Trophy ;)

Don't just rely on the rule book, it's several years old. Look at the rules forums as many changes have been voted in over the past few seasons. Also 2 votes are pending your input. You already have a vote!

I walked him through the Rules forum, so he should be up to speed. I also recommended reading up on the rules being asked to change before voting..

Funny thing is, all 3 often fall back on me for rule interpretations at times! It's a team effort!
