Practice Squad limit of 2 per year? **PASSES for 2018 season
 

I would like to propose a rule change, that we be allowed to add as many 5th and 6th round draft picks to our Practice Squad as we have room for each year. This would only lift the 2 players added per year limit, NOT an increase to the 6 player limit on the PS

I agree and voted yes but would like to see this done starting next year as it might impact our trade strategy or comp pick strategy.

New guy full of opinions here. I'm going to vote no but it's not an adamant no.

I WOULD like to make sure that if this passes, like Freedom said, that we don't implement this until next year.

It's still off Season, so would be passed if majority voted, and would be implemented this year.

Not sure how your strategy would change, other then to aquire more 5th and 6th round picks, if you had room. We have not made it that far in draft yet.

I like the idea and would vote for it next season. I'm opposed to implementing this season as my strategy would have been different - I likely would have considered offers I had for my 4th round comp to drop back, but with only 2 player limit and 2 picks in 5th-6th I chose to make a pick. Matt, not sure if you'd want to change your vote to NO or keep YES....

Can we get third voting option, or a hand shake agreement to repost pole in season?

Or should we have another poll about changing draft related rules during the draft?

How bureaucratic would you like to get?

Makes sense that season related rules turn over at the season and draft related rules turn over at the draft.

I like the idea, I don't like the timing.

That's fair.
I forgot. Though to be honest I was a bit confused due to the Frenzy discussion mixed in.

I just think the cost of forgetting to poll should be waiting until next year to implement. But that's my opinion, and it looks to be on the way to passing.

Just kidding... I'm actually all for it. I think the PS is too restrictive, personally. As long as there's a limit to the total number of players in there, and there's a higher "cost" for promoting out of the PS mid-season. I'm ok with removing the limit to the number that can be added per year.

I'd also be ok with allowing 4th round picks in the PS and signed undrafted rookies signed prior to the start of the season. But that seems like a different vote.

OK, so I missed this, but yes, after Draft starts, any rule change must be passed unanimously:
"Any rules changes after the start of the draft through the conclusion of the season must be agreed upon by the entire league unanimously."

So this change fails for this year. But seems like people want it, just not until next year.

So I'll close this poll out and see if we can pass it for next year before I forget about it again.

Just set up a poll now for next year so we don't forget about it then or we can just use the results here for next year

Actually the poll has passed with 7 votes. It just won't take effect until the 2018 season.

How do I see how teams voted after I vote? You can see results before you vote but not after you vote.
